Hugh B. Honey, 82, died at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, in a Wichita Falls hospital. He had been a resident of Amarillo since 1910. He was a horse and mule buyer for McKnight Transfer Co. for 40 years.

Surviving are a son, Donald E. Honey, 3300 Harrison; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Staggs, Kansas City; Mrs. Annie Pendergast, West Liberty, Iowa, and a granddaughter.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church.

Mr. and Mrs. Honey operated a rooming house in Tipton a number of years in the early 1900s.
