Stanwood, Ia. Jan. 26 -- The funeral of the late N. E. Stone, whose sudden death occurred last Wednesday at Colo, Iowa, was held at the United Presbyterian church, of which the deceased was a member, Saturday morning, and was attended by a large concourse of friends and neighbors. Mr. Stone was formerly a druggist at this place, but having recently sold his drug store, was on a business trip to Colo, when the sudden summons came. He was 56 years of age and leaves his wife, two sons, one daughter and three step-daughters to mourn his death. An able sermon was preached by the Rev. Mr. Bailey, and interment was made in the Stanwood cemetery.
