George Harbit, son of Willard and Mrs. M. E. Harbit, was born in Monroe county, Missouri, March 30, 1891.

On the 6th day of June, 1906, he, with his parents, moved to West Branch, Cedar county, Iowa, where he made his home until his death, which occurred September 29, 1907.

He was a kind, loving and sympathetic son, one who honored his father and mother, and was of very pleasant disposition and highly respected by those with whom he became acquainted. The many friends in the community in which he lived, join in sympathy with the parents, the two brothers and sister in their bereavement and sorrow.
