Tillmon Todd and wife, and son Carr, went to Rockwell City, Ia., Monday to attend the funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Todd's only daughter, Lyrra Boss, who died at Ridgway, Colo., Oct. 1st, 1909. Her request was that her remains be taken to Rockwell City and laid beside those of her daughter buried there during Mrs. Boss' residence at the latter place some years ago. Mrs. Boss had been sick for some time and nearly a year ago submitted to an operation. Mr. and Mrs. Todd were with her during the past year much of the time and all that kind and loving hearts and medical skill could do was bestowed on her but without avail. At times she seemed on the road to recovery and it was planned to bring her back to her old home in Iowa as soon as cool weather set in but she began to fail rapidly and died in her western home as stated above. Mrs. Boss was born and grew to womanhood in Springdale, and leaves her husband, E. E. Boss, and two daughters, Rockanna and Lenore, at Ridgway, Colo., to mourn her loss.
