17 July 1884 - The Local Record

ABRAHAM ROMAN, of Springdale, died of ulcerated brain, July 13, 1884, aged 57 years and 5 months.

The deceased came from Ohio to Iowa in 1870 with his three children, his wife having died four years before. For six years he has been a faithful member of the M.E. Church, where a large concourse of people gathered last Monday to attend the funeral services, conducted by Isaac C. Lusk, pastor, and Joseph Shinn, of the Friends society.
