Cornelia Emma Allen was born at Ansable, New York, August 30, 1851, and passed away July 13, 1928, at West Branch, Iowa. She was united in marriage March 18, 1877, to George G. Wright. To this union five children were born, two of whom died in infancy. A son, Joseph D., of Iowa City and two daughters, Mrs. Bert Pennock of West Branch and Mrs. Clark Kester of Alhambra, Cal., survive. One brother of Fort Dodge survives.

Mr. Wright died Oct. 14, 1922. Mrs. Wright came to Illinois when but a few years old and in young womanhood moved to Iowa, where she has since lived. A number of years ago she joined the Friends church at West Branch. For many years she lived a consistent Christian life.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Pennock residence, conducted by Rev. A. J. Hanson. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Adams of West Liberty.
