Edwin, son of N. C. and Nora Heacock, died Monday morning Aug. 31, 1896 after an illness of only five days of cholera infantum, aged about 5 months. Services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon conducted by the child's uncle Rev. E. T. Gruwell of Mt. Vernon.
