Mr. John Shuck, a widely known and greatly esteemed citizen died at his home near Clarence on the 2d inst., in his 74th year. Deceased resided near Tipton for a couple of years and had been a citizen of Cedar county for 25 years. He was the father of ten children, seven of whom survive him. Rev. J. K. Bloom, of Lisbon, preached the funeral sermon.
