Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton for Charles L. Sherman of Bennett. Mr. Sherman died Nov. 19 at Veterans hospital in Iowa City. The Rev. Omar Pettersen will officiate. Burial will be in Inland cemetery.

A native of Wheatland he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Sherman.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maude Sachleben, Davenport, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife.
