Mrs. Henry Scheeper, former Lowden resident, died at San Bernardino, Calif., after a three days illness. Funeral service will be held Saturday in California. She was born Martha Brockmeyer at Lowden in 1899, and attended the schools here. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran church in 1913, and married Henry Scheeper here, the couple living on a farm south of Lowden. She leaves her husband, one son Martin of California; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Helmold and Mrs. Paul Harmel of Lowden, Mrs. Fred Helmold of Bennett; three brothers, WIlliam Brockmeyer of the Lowden community, Charles and Fred Brockmeyer of Bennett.
