Andrew B. Larue Commits Suicide
Despondent Over Financial Affairs He Ends Life With 32 Revolver --Funeral Tomorrow

The fifth of a series of violent deaths in the past few weeks which have cast a pall of gloom over the community occurred Wednesday night when A. B. Larue took his life. He had been around during the day attending to his affairs and gave no evidence of the impending act aside from his general aspect, the neighbors noting that his step was considerably slower and he appeared in dejection. The fact that the deed seems so self-evident that the coroner deemed a jury unnecessary. Just before supper time he went to an unoccupied room on the floor, reclined thereon and after answering his wife's summons to the table, pulled the trigger which sent a bullet from a .32 revolver crashing into his brain. Death resulted near midnight.

Funeral services will be held from the home tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock with interment at Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Larue spent most of his life in the vicinity of Rochester, where he lived an honored life and reared a family of four children. Some years ago he became a resident of this vicinity and had the respect of all. He was the indirect victim of financial speculation during recent years and the savings of a life time had practically vanished. Two months ago he married a second time, the bride being Mrs. Mary Carney.

Besides the widow, four children survive: Harry and Mrs. Roy Wilkerson of near Atalissa; Carl of Kansas City, Mo., and Miss Elsie of Seattle, Wash. He was a member of Golden Rule Masonic Lodge of Rochester, Iowa, who will conduct the services at the cemetery. --Tipton Advertiser
