Funeral services were held for Mr. Phillip Reyes, 86, Davenport, at 8:30 Monday morning, Aug. 20, from St. Joseph church, with burial in Holy Family cemetery. Phillip Reyes was born Feb. 17, 1870, in Mexico He is survived by his widow and five sons: Raymond, Dubuque; Anthony, Los Angeles; Henry and Richard, both of Rock Island; Nick, of Davenport. Mr. Reyes will be remembered as a resident of Bennett for a number of years when he and his family lived here when he was a section hand on the railroad.
