Mr. and Mrs. John Kintz received a message last Thursday announcing the death of their daughter, Mrs. Beulah Kost, at Chadwick, Mo.

Just a week prior to Mrs. Kost's death her third child, Rose, aged seven, died of diphtheria, and the same dread disease claimed the mother.

Beulah Kintz was born at Solon, Iowa 29 years ago. When she was a small child her parents moved to West Branch and the most of her life has been spent in this vicinity until her marriage eleven years ago to Paul Kost of Iowa City.

Mr. and Mrs. Kost lived in Iowa City until a year ago when they moved to a farm near Chadwick, Mo., where she and little Rose passed away.

Mrs. Kost is survived by her husband and seven children, Joseph, Katharine, Josiah, Gertrude, Paul, Violet and Margaret.

The sympathy of the many friends here is extended the sorrowing family.
