Thomas Tucker, 22 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Tucker of Cedar Valley, died at his home Thursday evening of ulcers of the stomach.

He is survived by his parents, four sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held Saturday from St. Joseph's church.

"Tommy" was a popular student in the West Branch schools a few years ago and has many young friends here who are deeply grieved by his untimely death.

Thomas Tucker passed away Thursday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Tucker. Death was unexpected as he was sick only a few days.

He was born near Cedar Valley July 15, 1901, and lived there his whole life. At the time of his demise his age was 21 years, 11 months and 14 days.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Tucker, four sisters and two brothers, Frank Tucker of West Branch, Mrs. Garrie Hayslett of near Plato, and Clifford, Lizzie, Mildred and Irene at home.

His standing in the community could have been no higher. He was a boy of splendid qualities and everyone who knew him will deeply mourn his loss.

The funeral was held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock from St. Joseph church at Cedar Valley. Intement was in St. Joseph cemetery. Rev. H. A. Knebel officiated.
