Edward Tucker, aged near 53 years, died Tuesday at St. Paul, Minn., where he went for his health, after a lingering illness. The body arrived at Plato this morning and was taken in charge by our local undertaker, T. T. Hathaway, and conveyed to the St. Joseph Catholic church near Cedar Valley where the funeral took place at 9:30 o'clock. Interment was in the St. Joseph cemetery. The deceased formerly lived in Cedar county and is well known here, and was a brother to Richard, Wm., Henry, and the other Tucker brothers, and had made his home with his sister in Iowa City for the last few years.
