Little Grace, the four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Christee, passed away at the home yesterday afternoon.

About two months ago the child was terribly burned while playing with matches in the yard and she had never recovered.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home Friday morning at 9 o'clock with burial in the cemetery at Oxford.

Grace was a child of unusual charm and sweetness and will be missed by the entire neighborhood. The sympathy of the whole community is given to the sorrowing family.

Grace, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Christee was born in Vinton, Iowa, January 19, 1918, and slipped away from earth, Sept. 20, 1922, aged four years, eight months and one day.

Besides her parents, she is survived by one sister, Ella, and one brother, Emery. Two sisters and one brother preceded her.

Grace was an unusually attractive child and had won the hearts of all who knew her, not only her playmates but her friends among the older people. This was evidenced in their concern which all who knew her felt during her long weeks of suffering.

The funeral was held at Oxford Friday morning and there, surrounded by masses of beautiful flowers, she was tenderly laid away.
