DIED On Wednesday July 6th, 1892. Of Consumption, JACOB WILLIAM WITTER, aged 59 years.

William Witter was born in Mahoning Co. Ohio, Dec. 9th, 1838. He married Miss Lydia Mather January 7th, 1856. In 1868 he came to Iowa, his wife died May 7th, 1870. He married Mrs. Mary A. Miller, Aug. 18th 1875 two children were born to them. Mrs. Witter died April 6th, 1887. Mr. Witter served as councilman four terms. He also acted as Trustee in the M.E. church of which he had been a member many years.

The funeral services were conducted from the house on Friday, July 8th, by Rev. W. S. Craft assisted by Rev. J. Y. Hoover. The sympathy of the community is extended to the mourning children and friends.
