George Preston, Jr., the thirteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Preston, Sr., died at the family home near Cedar Valley Saturday afternoon, June 15, after an illness of several weeks.

George was a kind and loving child and obedient to the slightest wish of those about him. His taking away has left his home in sadness and tears and there's a vacant chair that never can be filled. He leaves to mourn his loss a kind and loving father, mother, three sisters and two brothers. The family has the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow.

The funeral services were held Monday at nine o'clock from St. Joseph's church at Cedar Valley, Rev. Father Kenebel of Tipton having the services in charge.
