The death of Thomas Christian Christensen, an aged resident of this community, occurred Sunday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jens Sorensen, six miles northeast of West Branch. Mr. Christensen had been in failing health for some time and his death was not unexpected.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon.
