15 March 1904 - The Tipton Advertiser

Minnie Blanche Lincoln was born in Sugar Creek township, Cedar county, Iowa, April 10, 1887, and died at Rochester March 10, 1904, being 16 years and 11 months old.

In January she attended the revival meetings in the Friends' church at Springdale, Iowa and gave her heart to Christ and united with that church. She then joined the Christian Endeavor Society and was a member of the Flower Com. until her death. She was taken sick at John Piersons in Springdale where she was living about Feb. 10 and was taken to her home where, after a month of extreme suffering, she passed away. Her family and friends have the comforting assurance that she sought and found the Saviour while in health and that she now rests in Him.

Rev. James Jennings conducted the funeral services at the home March 12, at 1 p.m., and her body was laid to rest in the beautiful Rochester cemetery.
