Howard S. Culver, one of the prominent young business men of Mechanicsville, died Monday morning of typhoid pneumonia. Mr. Collver was cashier of the Helmer & Gortner state bank, a member of the Graham Nursery Co., and a partner in the Collver & Purcell real estate firm. He was also a prominent Mason. Mr. Collver was born in Cedar county in 1870 and was 36 years, 6 months and 13 days old. He leaves a wife and one daughter.
