Died. - Mary Kate Runge Lincker was born June 30, 1861, in Germany, and died at her home six miles northeast of Clarence on the farm, Sunday evening, Feb. 23, 1902 in the forty first year of her life. She came to America, some twenty years ago and was united in marriage to Wm. G. Lincker on the 17th day of October, 1883, who passed to the spirit world Feb. 13, 1892. To them were born two children, a son, who died at the age of three months and a daughter, Anna, who has been assisting her mother in keeping house for Henry Lenschow for the past nine years, and who is left to mourn the great loss of her mother's love and care. Mrs. Lincker was a devoted member of the St. John's Evangelical church of Clarence, and died in triumphs of a living faith in Jesus Christ, leaving the evidence and influence of a Christian life to bless the friends left behind. Funeral services were from the Evangelical church conducted by her pastor, Rev. John Herrmann, assisted by Rev. Wesley Mack, pastor of the Dayton Valley Wesleyan Methodist church, and the remains interred in the German cemetery east of Clarence.
