William Milton Vincent, familiarly known to a wide acquaintance as "Pete", died in an Iowa City hospital at six o'clock Saturday evening. He had been ill only since Monday noon when he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his home.

He was the son of Milton and Mary Bolger Vincent, and was born on a farm near West Branch March 10, 1890. He was educated in the West Branch schools, and after his marriage to Kathryn Stroppel, engaged for a time in farming. Since leaving the farm he has operated a barber shop on the south side of Main street for many years.

He is survived by his widow and two children, Velma, (Mrs. Russell Weenik) and Milton Thomas Vincent and one brother, Elmer Vincent of Davenport. One brother, Harry, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at St. Wenscelaus church in Iowa City at ten o'clock Tuesday morning. The Rosary was said at the family home in West Branch Monday evening.

Burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery in Iowa City.
