Died at her home in Lowden, Dec. 5th, at noon, Mrs. Dora Dresden. The funeral occurred at Lowden on the 7th, with services conducted by Rev. Werning in the Evangelical church and interment in the cemetery near Clarence. Deceased was born Sept. 13, 1831, in Altenbostel, near Ebstorf, Province Hannover, Germany. Her husband, Adolph Dresden, died 24 years ago at Big Rock, Iowa. All of her children were present at the funeral, viz: Miss Lena Dresden, of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Paulina Knuoffer, of Germantown, Iowa, Henry Dresden, of Ida county, Wm. Dresden, of Larimore, N. D., and August Dresden of Clarence. These, together with 15 grandchildren and two sister-in-laws, and H. L. Kroeger, her aged brother, survive to mourn her departure. Mrs. Dresden had but rarely been sick during her three score and ten years on earth.
