Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Edler Killed in Crash

Funeral services for Henry G. and Eunice V. Edler, 65 and 58, were held at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, Jan. 11 with the Rev. Jack Hooten, Sharon United Methodist church, Cedar Rapids, officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Edler were killed in an auto accident near Billings, Okla. Jan. 7.

Henry Edler was born at Bennett Jan. 10, 1920. Eunice Hite was born at Kellog Aug. 24, 1927. They were married at Iowa City Sept. 20, 1946. Both were employed by Rockwell-Collins prior to retirement, he as a painter, she as an inspector. He was a navy veteran of World War II.

They are survived by 3 sons, Henry, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; Dennis, Essexville, Mich. and Terry, Panama City, Panama; 2 daughters, Patricia Wisner and Lori Hawbaker, both of Cedar Rapids and 7 grandchildren. Mr. Edler is survived by 2 brothers, R. D., Cedar Rapids and Arthur, Virginia Beach, Va. and a sister, Matti Cross, Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Edler is survived by a brother, Eugene Hite, Overland Park, Kans.
