Amelia Sarah Hoffmaster, daughter of Lydia and Christopher Hoffmaster, was born December 21st, 1853, at Savanah, Ill. and passed away at her home, May 2nd 1935, at the age of 81 years, 4 months and 11 days.

January 15th, 1870, she was united in marriage to Lewis Foote, who passed away in the year 1916.

Nine children came to gladden the home, five sons, William, Fred and Edward of Tipton, Chas. of Solon and Frank who preceded her in death. Four daughters, Lula Statts of Tipton, Clara Ramsey of Birmingham, Mich., Laura Bratsch of Birmingham, Mich., Ida Edens, Clinton, Iowa. Also 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Her father, mother, two sisters and one brother have preceded her in death.

In the year 1903 she was united in marriage to Cyrus Davis, who also has preceded her in death.
