Funeral services for Frederick Clarence Luikart, 89, were held at the United Methodist church, Clarence, Nov. 10 with the Rev. Donald Kehrli officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Pallbearers were Henry Thies, Alfred Pruess, Ralph Rowser, Walter Hartwig, Lawrence Kline and Erwin Frahm. Mrs. Henry Thies, Mrs. Leon Fisher and Mrs. Clark Workman were in charge of flowers. Mrs. James Sawyer Jr. was organist.

Mr. Luikart died at Veterans hospital, Iowa City, Nov. 8.

The son of Peter and Adaline Wise Luikart, he was born at Redhouse, W. Va. July 11, 1886 and was married to Louella Mae Smith there Feb. 19, 1919. He was a retired farmer and veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold Laing, Tipton and Virginia Luikart, Davenport; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-granddaughters, 2 sisters, Alma Luikart, Redhouse, W. Va. and Mrs. Nellie Dudding, Newhave, W. Va. and a brother, Arthur, Holiday, Fla.
