DIED: August 10, 1899, at her home with Mr. Ray Ocheltree, her brother, Mrs. Jane Bunker, at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 14 days. Mrs. Bunker was born in Green Briar county, West Va. She came with her parents to Ohio where they resided eight years. Their removal to Cedar county, Iowa, occurred in 1856 where she has ever since resided. She was married to John Bunker, Feb. 22, 1870, his death occurring in 1880. Mrs. Bunker was converted at an early age, and joined the Methodist church, living a consistent Christian life, but of late years being in too feeble health to attend church.

To her the relatives and friends say goodbye 'till the dawning of the morning. She died peacefully and rests in the christians hope of a blessed immortality.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. A. Hunsicker on Saturday Aug. 12. Interment in the Masonic cemetery.
