Coral Belle Felix, daughter of Frank and Louise Hershey Eichelberger, was born at Frederick, Maryland, Feb. 28, 1870. She passed away at the home of her daughter in Los Angeles, Calif., May 1, 1955, at the age of 85 years, 2 mos. and one day. She was the victim of a chronic heart ailment.

Cora was married to Addison Felix March 19, 1889, at Frederick, Maryland. Several years later they moved to Cedar county, Iowa, where they farmed in the Clarence and Tipton communities. They retired in Tipton in March of 1939, where Felix passed away on January 29, 1949. A daughter Elsie Louise was born to them. A niece, Anna Eichelberger, was fostered in this home from four weeks of age until her marriage.

Mrs. Felix was baptized into the Reformed church in Maryland.

About a year and one half ago, she was permitted to visit her niece in Ohio. Last November 19, she left for California on an intended short visit with her daughter and grandchildren, but she became more seriously ill, making her return impossible.

She is survived by her daughter Elsie, now Mrs. Ralph Baldwin, a niece Anna, now Mrs. Thurston Hazlett, together with other relatives left, 3 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, together with other relatives and friends.

Services were held at the Peterseim funeral home Friday, May 6, at 2 o'clock, Rev. U. J. Fike in charge. Interment was in Red Oak Grove cemetery.
