Richard Clinton Cooling, 89, died Nov. 25, at the Wilton Nursing home following a short illness.

Funeral services were Nov. 27, in Wilton with the Rev. I. G. Wilkins officiating.

Mr. Cooling was born Jan. 22, 1876, the son of Fred and Emma Wertz Cooling, in Illinois. He married Clara Duffe Aug,. 5, 1914, in Muscatine.

Survivors include a son, Louis, Wilton Junction, and 5 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
