Emily Bertha Wichman, wife of Otto E. Wichman, formerly residents of Tipton, now residing at 345 18th St. SE, Cedar Rapids, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at noon on Tuesday of this week, following a brief illness.

She was born in Cedar Rapids, Aug. 27, 1885, and was married to Mr. Wichman there June 24, 1907.

Mrs. Wichman was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, where the funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. E. H. Wildmann. Interment will be in Linwood cemetery.

Friends may call at the Beatty-Beuris chapel from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday until noon Friday.

Surviving Mrs. Wichman, in addition to her husband, are two sons Wesley T., of Mountain Lake, N.J., and Theodore O. Wichman with the US army in Japan; two daughters, Mrs. William Tomec of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. M. W. Chesem of Minneapolis, Minn.; also six grandchildren.

Mrs. Wichman was a sister-in-law of Frank Westphal of Tipton.
