Sue Bagley Kent was born June 22, 1882, to Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bagley of Tipton. On April 20, 1902, she was married to Ralph E. Kent. To this union was born one child, Leland B. Kent. Mrs. Kent was a life-long resident of Tipton.

She passed away at 5:15 a.m. Monday, May 9, at the age of years, 4 months and 9 days, at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, after an extended illness. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran church, Tipton, for the past 46 years.

Preceding her in death were her mother and father, a brother Fred, and a half-brother, Arthur. She is survived by her husband, Ralph, and her son, Leland, a half-brother, C. L. Bagley of Los Angeles, whom she leaves to mourn her passing, along with a number of relatives and friends in the community.

Memorial services were held in the Sheets & Dahn funeral home Wednesday afternoon, May 11, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Harter in charge. Interment was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.
