P. C. Clarke and W. M. McCaleb received word Wednesday morning of the death of their mother, Mrs. J. G. Clarke, who passed away at 6:30 that morning at the home of her son Leslie at Dayton, Ohio. They left that afternoon to attend the funeral which will be held Friday, with burial at Jamestown, Ohio, the old home community.

Mrs. Clarke lived at West Branch for a time a few years ago, with her son Leslie. She is survived by four sons, Leslie, of Dayton, Ohio; Harry R., of Detroit, Mich.; P. C. Clarke and Wm. M. McCaleb, of West Branch.
