Memorial services for Henry Lamp were held Wednesday afternoon, May 25, at 2 o'clock at the Peterseim funeral home with Rev. Robert Harter of the Lutheran church officiating. Interment was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Henry Lamp of Letts, Iowa, passed away in a hospital at Hartley after a brief illness at the age of 85 years. He was found unconscious in his hotel room Saturday morning and died Sunday noon without regaining consciousness. His brothers, Charles and Joe, drove to Hartley Sunday but they arrived too late.

Immediate survivors include five brothers, Charles, Edd and Fred, all of Tipton, Julius of West Branch and Joe of Letts; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Weih, Mrs. Emma LaFrenz and Mrs. Kathryn Achey of Tipton, and a number of nieces and nephews.
