Mrs. M. J. Dwyer, 48, passed away at 6:20 o'clock, Wednesday evening, March 11, 1931, at her home north of Oasis. She had been ill for several months.

Funeral services were held Friday morning at Nolan Settlement church at 9:30 o'clock. The services at the church were in charge of Father A. L. Panoch of St. Wenceslaus, Father J. H. Hopkins of St. Bridget's, Nolan Settlement, and Father J. E. Michalek of Solon. Burial was in the cemetery at Nolan Settlement.

Margaret Lundon was born in Castle Grove, Iowa, on November 7, 1882. She married M. J. Dwyer in 1912 and they moved to the farm where they have since made their home. Besides her husband, she is survived by four children: Mary Louise, Margaret Mariece, Agnes Regina and Genevieve Elaine, all at home. Her mother, who survives, lives at Monticello, as do two sisters, Nelle and May Lundon. Other sisters are Loretta Lundon of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Robert Hayes of Route No. 8, Iowa City, and three brothers, James, of Monticello, and Frank and John, of Cedar Rapids.
