Funeral services for Mrs. Alva Crapser, Eldridge, who died at 5:55 p.m. Monday in St. Luke's hospital following an illness of four weeks will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (today) in the Hill & Fredericks Chapel, Davenport. The Rev. W. F. Furman will officiate. Burial will be in the Elvira cemetery.

The former Vera Mae Carl was born near Bennett and she attended schools in Cedar county and Tipton. She was married to Mr. Crapser Feb. 5, 1935, in Kahoka, Mo., and the couple farmed near Low Moor for several years before moving to a farm west of Eldridge 10 years ago.

Surviving are the widower, a sister, Mrs. Rudolph Schiele, Downey, Iowa, and a brother, Harry Carl, Davenport.
