Memorial services for Herman R. Lamp. 64, retired Durant business store owner who died Sunday were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Durant Chapel.

Mr. Lamp was educated in the schools of Muscatine county and Brown's Business College at Davenport. He bought a Durant hardware store from D. C. Wunder, and later helped form the partnership of Munn and Lamp. Lamp retired in the year 1951.

He was active in Lodge and Republican party activities and was a trustee of the Durant Light Plant.

Surviving are his wife, six brothers and two sisters.
