Perry Wilkinson Moffett, of 1330 First avenue E., Cedar Rapids, well known former Tipton businessman, died at a Cedar Rapids hospital at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, after a brief illness.

Mr. Moffett was born in Tipton, August 21, 1871, and had he lived another week would have reached his 70th birthday. He had resided in Cedar Rapids since 1919.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Paul B. Shaw of Iowa City and Mrs. Harry C. Peiker of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Brosch chapel at Cedar Rapids, Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery near Tipton, about 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon with short services at the graveside.
