Funeral services for Ruth Pedersen were held at her home near Springdale on Monday, July 23, at 1:30 and burial was at the Norwich cemetery at Martelle.

She died Friday evening at her home following a lingering illness. Rev. J. P. Gable of Marion officiated at the services.

Ruth Pedersen spent her life around and in Cedar county where she made a host of friends.

Ruth Louise Peek Pedersen was born at Clarence, Iowa February 7, 1916, a daughter of Ralph and Emma Robinson.

She was married to Leroy Arthur Peek, April 20, 1933, who preceded her in death March 17, 1938. She was united in marriage to Kenneth George Pedersen December 7, 1943. They were engaged in farming near Springdale where she passed from this life.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pedersen; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Robinson of West Branch; and seven sisters, Mrs. Merle Stanlake of Silvis, Illinois; Mrs. Murrl Stingley of Everett, Ohio, Mrs. Lawrence Kalous of Lisbon, Iowa, Mrs. Ray Bennett of Marion, Iowa, and Jane, Helen and Virginia Robinson at home; and three brothers, Kenneth Robinson of Tipton, Sgt. Ray Robinson of El Reno, Okla., and T-Sgt. Jack Robinson, who is serving overseas in Germany.
