John Albert Winekauf was born on Dec. 6, 1885 to Mr. and Mrs. John Winekauf in Lime City. He became ill about eighteen weeks ago and died at 8:50 p.m. on January 12.

He married Della Albaugh on Feb. 20, 1906, in Tipton and they farmed in Cedar county until they retired to Tipton seven years ago.

One son, Floyd, survives him. Floyd lives on a farm near Tipton. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Otillie Restau of Cartidge, Mo. He has four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted by the Sheets & Dahn funeral home with Rev. Harold Kratzat officiating. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.
