Memorial services for Rev. Otis Moore will be held at the Bennett Methodist church Friday, April 1 at 3 p.m. when Bennett and South Bethel church members will have charge of the service. All friends are invited to attend. Rev. Otis H. Moore passed away at Methodist hospital, New York, at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 23. The body was cremated and the ashes will be brought to Mt. Vernon, Iowa, some time this summer.

The Rev. Otis Moore, 73, well-known minister, died Wednesday March 23, at Methodist hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Born at Sibley, Ia., Aug. 27, 1881, the Rev. Mr. Moore was graduated from Cornell college in 1906 with outstanding recognition as an athlete.

In 1911 he was married at Mt. Vernon to Miss Alice Fellows Rigby, granddaughter of S. M. Fellows, second president of Cornell College.

Mr. Moore served pastorates at Bennett, South Bethel, Elwood, St. Ansgar and Brandon.

In 1940 the Moore family moved to New York City from which place Mr. Moore continued his pastorates in the New York area while Mr. Moore served as executive secretary in the women's division of the Society of Christian Services in the foreign department. Mr. Moore retired in 1950.

Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Moore, are two daughters and a son.
