Mrs. Minnie S. Jons died in Los Angeles last Thursday where she had been making her home. The funeral was held on Sunday followed by burial on Monday, probably in that beautiful cemetery at Glendale. Mr. Jons is buried there.

Mrs. Minnie Seeman Jons was born in Scott county April 16, 1866, and passed away in her 79th year. She married Mr. Jons on June 5, 1895, and the first part of their married life was spent in Clarence. Mr. Jons was engaged in the hardware business here until 1915 when he was elected county treasurer and moved to Tipton. They continued to reside in Tipton till 1920 when they address was changed to Sunbury.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. G. J. Horn of Tipton, Mrs. Guy R. Woods and Mrs. J. W. Wiles of Los Angeles; four grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Augusta Bein of Beamon, Ia., Mrs. Henry Boehn of Pleasant Valley and Mrs. Ella Boehn of Bettendorf; and two brothers, O. E. Seeman of Stuttgart, Ark., and Julius Seeman of Bettendorf.
