William Frederick, 69, of Cedar Bluff, was found dead in his boat on Sunday morning, the coroner's inquest giving acute indigestion as the cause.

Mr. Frederick had gone fishing early in the morning, and when he failed to return after bringing the boat to shore, his family sought him, discovering his lifeless body.

Funeral services were held at the Cedar Bluff church at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Posten of Tipton.

Mr. Frederick had spent almost his entire life in the Cedar Bluff community. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Meeker, two sons, John Frederick of Cedar Bluff and Clare Frederick of Tipton; two brothers, Dan Frederick of Buchanan and George Frederick of Arlington, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Stout of Buchanan.
