The local interest is that this man was pastor of the Clarence Methodist church from 1901 to 1904.

Rev. William Henry Doner, age 93 years, passed away July 15, 1953, at his home , 237 East Glenarm St., Pasadena, Calif. A native of Fairfax, Iowa, he had been a resident of California for 37 years and of Pasadena for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Belk Doner, to whom he had been married 69 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by a grandson, Emery M. Doner of Montebello, Calif., a granddaughter, Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Lewis of Burbank, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18th, 1953, at the chapel of Turner & Stevens Co., Marengo Ave, at Holly St., in Pasadena, and were conducted by Dr. Walter C. Bucker and Dr. Frank Pierpoint. Interment was made at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
