Mary Jo Rose was born to Stanley and Frances Joyce Dougherty Rose at nine o'clock on the morning of March 1, 1954 at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids and passed away there at 10:15 o'clock in the evening of the same day.

Besides her parents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Rose of Clarence she is survived by two brothers, Gary and Steven Rose, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rose of Cedar Rapids and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Hudson also of Cedar Rapids.

Private memorial services were conducted in the Methodist Church in Clarence on Thursday, March 3, 1954 by Rev. A. D. Holtry, with the Chapman Funeral Home in charge.
