Mrs. J. F. Duvall of Bennett, who had been residing for the last three weeks at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Bawden, 161 Forest Road, Davenport, died there at 7 p.m. Sunday, following a four-months illness. She was 79 years old.

Mrs. Duvall was born in Beardstown, Ill., Nov. 4, 1866, later moved to Maroa, Ill., and in 1914 moved to Bennett. Her husband, J. F. Duvall preceded her in death in 1935. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Maroa.

The survivors in addition to her daughter, of Davenport, include two other daughters, Mrs. Floyd Blair of Bennett and Miss Henrietta Duvall of Davenport; four grandsons and one granddaughter.

The body was removed to the McCormick funeral home in Tipton and from there was taken to Bennett where services where held Wednesday. Burial was in the Bennett cemetery.
