Joseph Peryl Ferguson, the son of Joseph P. and Persis Delamater Ferguson, was born at Clarence, Iowa, March 22, 1876. He was married to Marion M. Garrison at Clarence, Iowa, April 4, 1899. One child was born to this union, Marion Dianna, who died in infancy. Mr. Ferguson passed away in a Rest Home at Pasadena, Calif. on November 2, 1953, at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his wife two weeks earlier, on October 18th. Survivors include the following nieces and nephews: Mrs. Veva Flansburg Christianson, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Ethol Lamos Sloan,, Yakima, Wash.; Earl Flansubrg, Glen Ellyn, Ill.; Dovie Cook Kemp, Roger, Ark.; Carroll Cook, Hamilton, Bermuda; Rollie Cook, Florida, and Arlington Lantx, Armour, S. D. Services were held at the Ives-Warren Funeral Home at Pasadena, Nov. 4th. There was a cremation committal in the Clarence cemetery on November 19, 1953.
