2 December 1910 - The Lowden News

Henry Stuhr, late of Oxford Jct., died near Toronto Saturday afternoon at about two o'clock at the age of 56 years. His death was the result from an accident. Mr. Stuhr fell from a boat in the Wapsie near Toronto and although he was helped out of the water almost immediately, the chill received caused his death shortly after the accident. The coroner was notified and sent a representative, but it was decided that no inquest was necessary.

Henry Stuhr was buried at Wheatland Monday. Eight children and many other near relatives survive to mourn his demise. His wife died about eleven years ago.

Deceased and his family, years ago, resided at Lowden for a while and Henry was well known by many of our readers. All sympathize with his bereaved children and his other near relatives.

Henry was a brother of Wm. Stuhr south of Lowden and Mrs. Chas. Malottki of Vesta, Minn.
