28 November 1957 - The Clarence Sun

Carol Joslin, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Joslin, was born March 8, 1954. At the time of her untimely passing on Monday, November 18, 1957, she had reached the tender age of 3 years, 8 months and 10 days.

This child who was loved by so many is being missed by not only those in the family, but by all who knew her.

Surviving besides her parents are her three sisters, Christine, Kathy and Ann, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Joslin of Clarence and Mrs. A. B. Chamberlin of Mt. Vernon, and a host of other relatives.

The Sunday School room which she enjoyed to be in each Sunday, at the Methodist Church in Clarence, was a fitting place for her to be during the time of the funeral service.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 1957, and were conducted by Rev. Cyril Ashton. The music, furnished by the church choir, sang "The Wise May Bring Their Learning" and "God So Loved the World", accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Howard Folk. In charge of the flowers were Lynn and Bonnie Schilling. Pallbearers: Bill Elijah, Larry Hartig, Mark Damborg, Darrel Martin, Jimmy Schilling and Phillip Schilling.

Interment was made in the Clarence Cemetery.
