Mrs. E. C. Gise passed away on Tuesday, June 18th, at her home in Hollywood, Calif. following a stroke.

She was born Isabel Elijah, the daughter of Wm. E. and Carrie (Robinson) Elijah in Clarence on January 12th, 1886. The family lived in Tipton many years before moving to California.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Carolyn Overstreet; a brother T. Herbert Elijah of Orange, Calif. and four grandchildren.
